Rattapallax and Academia Internacional de Cinema are offering a three week intensive filmmaking course in Brazil. Experience the bustling nightlife of Sao Paulo, exotic culture, and film on some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the world for a fraction of the cost. Students learn the craft of filmmaking with leading Brazilian and international filmmakers in English. Everyone works in small groups on the production while learning the art of scriptwriting, direction (directing the camera and actors), cinematography (camera and lighting), sound (direct and mixing), art direction (set and costume design and make-up), and editing on Final Cut Pro. Each student makes a short film working with digital media. They work in small groups and have specific functions on the crew, just like in a professional set. By the end of the course, students will have made their own films. They will have learned how to develop projects in a production process, shooting on digital cameras and editing on Final Cut Pro 4.5 HD.
